About the SUPERNOVA21 Organization

SUPERNOVA21 is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation based in Novi Sad, Serbia. Its mission is to support youth development, promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen local and European communities through sport, non-formal education and shared activities.

The organisation connects sport, education, health and social responsibility, with a strong focus on working with young people and secondary-school students.

What we do

SUPERNOVA21 designs and implements activities and projects focused on:

  • youth work and non-formal learning
  • promotion of healthy and active lifestyles
  • sport as a tool for connection, cooperation and inclusion
  • international youth exchange and cooperation

Our approach is inclusive and community-oriented, focusing on long-term impact.

UNITY 3×3 – main ongoing project

UNITY 3×3 is an Erasmus+ Small-scale project implemented from December 2025 until October 2026.

The core idea of UNITY 3×3 is to enable young people to:

  • connect and socialise through 3×3 basketball
  • cooperate and exchange ideas in an international setting
  • develop digital and communication skills
  • promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and fair play
  • strengthen a sense of shared European future

The project involves secondary-school students from Croatia and Slovenia, in cooperation with:

  • HAŠK Mladost Zagreb (Croatia)
  • Športno društvo Šentvid – Ljubljana (Slovenia)

SUPERNOVA21 acts as the project coordinator.

Cooperation with schools

SUPERNOVA21 has formal written cooperation agreements with:

  • Saobraćajna School “PINKI”, Novi Sad (approx. 1,400 students)
  • Gymnasium “Jan Kolar”, Bački Petrovac (approx. 800–900 students)

All activities implemented in schools are carried out with written approval from school management and in line with educational regulations.

Informal and volunteer activities

In addition to project-based work, SUPERNOVA21 organises informal and volunteer activities open to young people and adults, such as:

  • group walks in nature
  • recreational activities without pressure or obligation
  • relaxed gatherings focused on wellbeing and social interaction

Our team

SUPERNOVA21 is supported by a multidisciplinary team with expertise in sport, education, health promotion, youth work and project development.

Child protection and safeguarding

SUPERNOVA21 applies EU child safeguarding standards and has an adopted and signed Child Protection Policy.

  • All activities involving minors are implemented with written consent from parents or legal guardians.
  • All photos and video materials are created with written consent of participants and their parents/guardians.
  • Activities implemented in schools are carried out with formal approval from school management.

The safety, wellbeing and dignity of children and young people are a top priority for SUPERNOVA21.
